Precentor & Liturgist
The Dean and Chapter invite applications for this appointment as a Minor Canon of Canterbury Cathedral which will become vacant early in 2009. The Precentor is a key member of the Music and Liturgy department and is responsible for the organisation of all services at the Cathedral and the singing of the daily offices. This position is offered on a 5-year contract and is open to ordained priests with an appropriate musical background.
